This is Bowmore 12 Years Old, an Islay single malt bottled at 40% in a 35cl bottle. It is described as a peated whisky with a firm, smoky character.
The nose is finely salty, with lemon, honey and fruit such as passion fruit, orange and mango, alongside smoky, peaty coastal aromas. The palate brings dark chocolate, smoke, plenty of salty notes, orange and vanilla caramel. The finish has a green tea bitterness with gentle peat and salty notes that do not dominate.
