Bowmore 12 Years is an Islay single malt bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is a peated whisky with a coastal, smoky character.
The nose is lightly briny, with lemon, honey and fruit including passion fruit, orange and mango alongside the smoke and peat. The palate is warm, with dark chocolate, candied orange and vanilla caramel, and smoke that stays in the background above plenty of salty notes.
The finish has a slight green tea bitterness, with soft peat and a touch of salt.
