This is a 15 year old Bowmore single malt, distilled in 2001 and matured fully in an ex-sherry cask. La Maison du Whisky released it as number 8 in its Artist series, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is salty, with fresh herbs, sweet flowers and heavy peat smoke. On the palate it is smoky and mineral, with coconut building alongside juicy pear. The finish is long and gently smoky.
