Bowmore – 15 Year Old (75cl)

Bowmore 15 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from Bowmore Distillery on Islay, in a 75cl bottle. It spent its first 12 years in ex-bourbon barrels and its last 3 years in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks. The whisky is dark amber in colour with a full, silky mouthfeel. Gentle peat smoke and maritime character sit alongside sweet sherry-wood influence. On the nose there is dark chocolate, sun-dried fruit and a light touch of peat smoke. The palate brings dark chocolate, cedar, raisins, toffee and gentle smoke, and the finish is long, with sherry sweetness, dark cocoa and warm peat.
