Bowmore 15 Year Old Sherry Oak Cask is an Islay single malt matured for at least 15 years in European Oloroso sherry casks and American oak ex-bourbon casks. It is finished in European Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose has moist raisins and sweet dates with cinnamon and dark chocolate, wrapped in discreet smoke. The palate is lively, with liquorice root and cedar, syrupy cinnamon, cooked confectionery and clove. The finish is woody, with sweet spices.
