Bowmore 15 Year Old is an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. It was matured first in bourbon barrels, then spent its final three years in Oloroso sherry casks, which give it a rich, deep colour.
Bowmore's malt is matured in the No.1 Vaults, described as the world's oldest Scotch maturation warehouse and established in 1779. The malt is still smoked over a peat-fired kiln. The finish is robust and warming.
