Bowmore 15 Year Old is an Islay single malt bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in a combination of bourbon casks and Oloroso sherry casks, and Bowmore's coastal peat smoke sits alongside dark fruit and sweet spice.
The nose offers raisins, chocolate and a hint of sea breeze. The palate is full-bodied, with dried figs, toffee, rich sherry sweetness and warm oak under a gentle smokiness. The finish is long, smooth and slightly spicy, with echoes of cocoa and sherried fruit.
