Bowmore 15 Year Old is an Islay single malt in a 75cl bottle, matured first in bourbon barrels and then for three years in Oloroso sherry casks.
The sherry finish gives the whisky a rich burnt sienna colour and a warming finish.
The nose brings dark chocolate and raisin alongside Bowmore's familiar smokiness. On the palate there is cedar wood and rich treacle toffee, and the finish is of spicy toffee, sherry and barley.
