A 15-year-old Islay single malt from Bowmore, filled and released for the 2022 Fèis Ìle festival. It matured in first fill ex-bourbon casks and was bottled in 2022 at a cask strength of 54.7% in a 70cl bottle. This distillery bottling is part of the Fèis Ìle limited edition series, with 3,000 bottles produced.
The nose is very fruity and sweet, with tropical and exotic fruit, floral notes, a hint of sweet nectar and a little salty sea breeze. The smoke takes second place and shows mainly on the palate and in the finish, in a fresher style of peat and charcoal smokiness.
