A 15 year old Bowmore single malt, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It spent two years maturing in Oloroso sherry casks, which gives it a character often likened to Pedro Ximenez sherry with a generous measure of vanilla ice cream.
The nose is dark and spicy, with sherry, juicy Corinth raisins, mochaccino and sweet dates. The palate is creamy, soft and full, with smoke, malt, grapes, sherry and sweet oak, alongside dark chocolate and fruit. The finish is short to medium, with roasted coffee and toast.
