This is the 18 year old from Bowmore's core range, matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks and European oak Oloroso sherry casks. It has appeared in the distillery's new, mostly black packaging since 2025, following the brand refresh announced in 2024, and won a Double Gold medal at the 2026 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
The nose shows candied oranges, caramel, toffee, nectarines and butterscotch, with a little menthol and delicate peat smoke. The palate moves from toasted almonds and nutmeg to liquorice, dark chocolate and honeycomb. The finish is warm, with wood spice and gentle smoke.
