This Bowmore was matured for 18 years in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at cask strength. It is an edition of 3,000 bottles.
It was originally scheduled for release at Feis Ile in 2020. Feis Ile is the Islay Festival of Music and Malt. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic the bottling was held back until 2021, and it was never relabelled, so it still carries the intended 2020 release year.
