Bowmore – 18 Year Old Fèis Ìle Release (70cl, 51.2%)

Bowmore – 18 Year Old Fèis Ìle Release is a single malt whisky from Bowmore (Islay). Aged 18 years, bottled at 51.2% ABV, 70cl. Matured in first-fill oloroso sherry casks. This was matured in first-fill oloroso sherry casks for 18 years before being bottled at cask strength. The bottling was originally scheduled to be released at Fèis Ìle in 2020, but due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic it was held back and reserved for 2021. It was never relabelled and still carries the intended release year. The oldest operational distillery on the isle of Islay, built in 1779. Today it is part of the Suntory Group, having been acquired by the Japanese company in 1994. Under their ownership is has been nurtured into one of the most collectable names in Scotch whisky.
