An 18-year-old Islay single malt from Bowmore, in a 70cl bottle at 43%. It was matured in ex-bourbon casks of American oak and Oloroso sherry casks of European oak, which together bring fruit, sweetness and spice, with fine peat smoke still present. The range received a revised design from the start of 2025.
Candied orange and ripe nectarine meet caramel, toffee and butterscotch on the nose, with menthol and delicate peat smoke. The palate has toasted almonds and nutmeg, then floral sweets, fennel seed, liquorice, dark chocolate, honeycomb, maple syrup and juicy orange. The finish is warm, with wood spice and light smoke like a freshly lit fire.
