This is an 18 year old Islay single malt from Bowmore, bottled at 43%. It matured in ex-Bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks and then received a finish in Pedro Ximenez casks. It is non-chill filtered and has no added colour.
Bowmore has stood on the shore of Loch Indaal since 1779. Part of its malt is still made on its own malting floors and dried over peat fire.
The bottling is described as combining peat smoke with tropical fruit, chocolate and fine spice.
