Bowmore 18 Year Old Sherry Oak Cask is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is built around a sherry influence together with Bowmore's gentle peat smoke.
The whisky is matured in ex-Bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, then finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.
The nose brings citrus, dried fruit and sherry sweetness with soft smoke and a maritime edge. On the palate there are dark fruit, caramel, warming spice and oak alongside the peat. The finish is smooth and lingering, with lasting sweetness and gentle smoke.
