This is an 18 year old single malt from Bowmore on Islay, matured in oak casks and bottled at 43%.
Peat smoke is joined by tropical fruit and floral notes. The whisky is described as well balanced, with creamy caramel, chocolate and soft ripe fruit alongside the smoke, and a long finish. It won gold medals in 2018 at the International Wine & Spirit Competition and the International Spirits Challenge, and a double gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
