This is an 18 year old single malt from Bowmore, the Islay distillery founded in 1779. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks in the No. 1 Vaults warehouse.
The nose combines creamy caramel, exotic fruit and peat smoke. On the palate it is complex, with caramel sweets, sweet biscuit, fruit and chocolate, rounded off by light smoke. The finish is long and smooth.
