Bowmore – 18 Years

Bowmore 18 Year Old is an Islay single malt matured in oak casks. The distillery has stood on the Islay coast since 1779, and still turns its barley by hand and smokes it in its own maltings. Soft fruit sits alongside dark chocolate and Bowmore's characteristic peat smoke. The nose brings candied orange, caramel and a touch of menthol wrapped in delicate peat smoke. The palate is floral, with liquorice, dark chocolate, honeycomb and orange. The finish is warm, with light smokiness.
