A 32 year old single malt from Bowmore on Islay, distilled in 1968 and bottled at 45.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Stanley P Morrison, the company that went on to become Morrison Bowmore.
The whisky was matured in Bowmore's No.1 Vaults and personally selected by Brian Morrison. The release is limited to 1860 bottles.
The nose is described as heavy with tangerine, grapefruit and ripe melon, then vanilla ice cream, fresh pears and apples, old rum, flambeed banana and passion fruit, with whiffs of smoke.
