Bowmore 1984 No.1 Vaults is a 30-year-old Islay single malt, distilled in 1984 and bottled in 2014 at a cask strength of 47.6%. It comes in a 70cl bottle, and only 500 bottles were released.
The whisky matured in ex-Bourbon casks that sat in Bowmore's No.1 Vaults for the full 30 years. It has a deep gold colour.
The nose offers citrus and mint dark chocolate. On the palate there is honey with hints of ginger, and the finish brings elegant fruits and spices with dark chocolate.
