A single malt from Bowmore on Islay, distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2022 by Berry Bros. & Rudd. It was matured in a sherry butt, and 515 bottles were filled worldwide at 53.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered.
The nose combines smoked pineapple, harbour rope, dark chocolate, old leather, peaty hearths and overripe mango. On the palate come waves of peat smoke, grilled orange and barbecued fruits.
The finish is smoky, with tropical fruit.
