This is a 21 year old Islay single malt from Bowmore, distilled in 2000 and bottled by Malts of Scotland at 54.3% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It matured in a bourbon barrel, cask 21032, and was bottled from the Diamonds warehouse. Only 113 bottles were filled.
The Bowmore distillery was officially founded in 1779.
The tasting notes describe an oily, ripe and soft malt with plenty of character, complex and elegant in style.
