A 10 year old Bowmore single malt from Islay, distilled in March 2014 and bottled in April 2024 by Douglas Laing for the Old Particular range. It comes from a single refill barrel, cask DL18875, and was bottled at 48.4% ABV without colouring or chill filtration. The outturn was 288 bottles.
The label describes gentle peat smoke and tropical fruit on the nose, moving to mocha and allspice. The palate brings wood spice, sweet oak and cereal richness, with sea salt and tangy lemon peel. The finish has dried citrus fruits, cracked black pepper, creamy toffee and peated malt.
