This is a 21 year old Islay single malt from Bowmore, bottled at 46.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is matured in ex-Bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, then given a final maturation in first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.
The nose brings tobacco leaf, heather, toffee, treacle and beeswax, with a gentle peat smoke behind. On the palate there is deep sherry sweetness and mature oak, with dried fruit, warm spice and light coastal notes. The finish is long and complex.
