Bowmore – 25 Years Old Small Batch Release Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 43%)

This is a 25-year-old Islay single malt from Bowmore, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks and Spanish oak sherry casks. The whisky has a rich mahogany colour. Its character combines mandarin peel and dry fruit richness with subtle peat smoke. On the nose there is sherry and stewed fruits with a trace of smokiness. The palate offers toffee and hazelnut with a hint of sweet peat smoke, and the finish is mellow, gentle and complex.
