This 26 year old Bowmore is the second expression in the Vintner's Trilogy, a series inspired by wine, port and sherry casks. It is sold in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky spent thirteen years in ex-Bourbon barrels, then a further thirteen years in French oak barriques.
It is described as having tropical fruit, oak-spiced smoke and dark chocolate, leading to a long, mouth-watering finish with a hint of salt on the lips.
