Bowmore 30 Years Old The Sea Dragon is a thirty-year-old Islay single malt, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose opens with ripe tropical fruit, including mango, papaya, passion fruit and pineapple, alongside heather honey, toffee, caramelised orange peel and sea air, with only a very faint trace of peat smoke.
On the palate the texture is creamy and silky, with tropical fruit and sherry, dark chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, salty mineral notes and spiced oak. The finish is very long, with ripe fruit, dry tea, old oak and a hint of iodine.
