Bowmore 40 Year Old 2024 Release is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky matured for forty years in bourbon and sherry casks. It is bottled at 45.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Bowmore's subtle peat smoke is joined by exotic fruit, cocoa, butterscotch, tobacco and mature oak.
The nose offers juicy papaya and passion fruit with rich cocoa and butterscotch. On the palate come tobacco leaf, walnut cake and butterscotch, with a hint of peat smoke. The finish is long and rich, with fruit, cocoa, oak and gentle smoke.
