This is a limited-edition distillery bottling of The Legend, a single malt from Bowmore on Islay. It was distilled in 1989 to 1990, aged for 8 years and bottled in 1998 at 40% ABV, in a 70cl bottle with a light gold colour.
It comes in a presentation tin showing a headless horseman. The scene draws on a local legend in which the Islay crofter Lachlan Bàn met the horseman while walking home on a stormy night.
