Bowmore Legend is a young Islay single malt, in a 70cl bottle at 40%.
Bowmore sits between the intense malts of Islay's south coast and the softest malts of the north. The distillery is more exposed to the west winds than others, and more ozone may account for its complex flavours. Despite its youth, the influence of sherry is clearly noticeable.
It is described as powerful, smoky and intense, a malt for those who like a strong Bowmore.
