Bowmore Surf is a single malt Scotch whisky from Islay, in a 100cl bottle at 40% ABV.
The village of Bowmore is little more than a hamlet, yet it is the centre of the island. The distillery was founded in 1779 and was the first legal distillery on Islay, making it one of the oldest in Scotland. It has been kept in excellent condition and now belongs to the Japanese Suntory group.
