Bowmore 18 Year Old is an Islay single malt in the Vintner's Trilogy, a series born in Bowmore's No.1 Vaults. It is matured in both ex-bourbon barrels and ex-manzanilla sherry barrels, which give it a rich antique gold colour. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
The aroma is creamy caramel and ripe fruit with a delicate hint of smoke. The taste brings dark chocolate, tropical fruits and rich spices over a subtle peat undertone. The finish is long and smooth, with lingering fruit and smoke.
