Bowmore – Vaults 1st Release Limited Edition 2016 (70cl, 51.5%)

Bowmore Vaults 1st Release is a limited edition Islay single malt from 2016, bottled at 51.5% in a 70cl bottle. It opens a four-part series in which each of Bowmore's four basic flavours (sea salt, smoke, fruit and sweetness) is considered on its own. This first edition is marked strongly by salt, and it takes its name from the No.1 Vaults warehouse at Bowmore. The nose is sweet and salty. The palate shows fruity notes of blood orange, blackberry and kumquat, with a touch of cocoa.
