Braes of Glenlivet 27 Year Old is a single malt from the Braeval distillery in Speyside, released under the distillery's earlier name as a Rare Release in Chivas Brothers' Secret Speyside Collection. This is Batch BG/002, a small batch bottled in October 2020 at 48% in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration. It was matured in first-fill American oak barrels. The nose pairs red apples with nutty oak. The palate is sweet and creamy, with ripe banana and butterscotch. The finish is long and velvety.
