Braeval – 10 Year Old Sherry Cask Finish Osprey (46%)

This is a 10 year old Speyside single malt from the Braeval distillery, bottled by the independent bottler Osprey. After ten years of maturation it was finished in hand-selected Oloroso sherry casks. Osprey bottles it at 46% ABV, unfiltered and in its natural colour. The nose is dark cocoa and gently stewed fruit. On the palate, the sweetness of dates meets the bitterness of walnuts, with an allspice-like spice and a smooth texture. The finish is long and creamy.
