This is a 16-year-old Braeval bottled by Little Brown Dog at 57.3% ABV. It was distilled on 2 February 2010 and bottled on 11 February 2026, with 332 bottles filled. The whisky was fully matured in a white port barrique rather than given a short finish, which is an unusual route for a Speyside malt. The nose has honeydew melon, clear gummy bears and fresh hay. On the palate come green apple peel, pear tart and quince jelly. The finish recalls white Burgundy and good milk chocolate.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
