A 30-year-old single malt from Braeval, a Speyside distillery also known as Braes of Glenlivet. It was distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2022 by Douglas Laing for its Extra Old Particular range. It comes from a single refill barrel that yielded 230 bottles at a natural strength of 50.2%, without colouring or chill filtration, in a 70cl bottle. The nose has vanilla and toffee moving to cinnamon and spiced oak. The palate is smooth and creamy, with barley, boiled sweets and juicy tangerine. The long finish brings buttery pastry, tangy marmalade and stewed apple.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
