Braeval – 2000 Signatory Vintage 21 Years Old Refill Sherry Butt (70cl, 59.2%)

This Braeval was distilled on 16 February 2000 and bottled on 13 August 2021 by Signatory Vintage, at 21 years old. It matured in a refill sherry butt and was bottled at a cask strength of 59.2% in a 70cl bottle, filling 592 bottles. Braeval was founded in 1973 as Braes of Glenlivet and is the highest distillery in Speyside. It closed in 2002 and reopened in 2008. Its water comes from the Preenie and Kate springs.
