This is a 10 year old peated Highland single malt, distilled at Loch Lomond Distillery and bottled independently by Brave New Spirits as part of its WhiskyHeroes series. It matured in first-fill bourbon barrels and was bottled at 58.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The release produced 425 bottles.
The nose offers orange zest and citrus with vanilla, tropical fruit and a gentle smokiness. On the palate come white chocolate mousse, white grapes, mango and pineapple, with vanilla sweetness and soft peat. The finish is medium and warming, with oak spice, vanilla and lingering fruit.
