Brora – 1975 Rare Malts Selection 20 Year Old Natural Cask Strength Single Malt (70cl, 59.1%)

A 20 year old Highland single malt from Brora, distilled in 1975, eight years before the distillery closed in 1983. It was released in Diageo's Rare Malts Selection, a series that has since been discontinued, and is bottled at a natural cask strength of 59.1% in a 70cl bottle. It is usually described as combining power, elegance and coastal character, with waxy citrus, bergamot and honey alongside dry peat smoke, polished oak and a distinct maritime salinity.
