Brora – 22 Year Old 1972 Rare Malts Selection (70cl, 58.7%)

This is a 22 year old Brora single malt from the Highlands, distilled in 1972 and bottled by Diageo in 1995 as an official release in the Rare Malts series. It comes in a 70cl bottle at a natural cask strength of 58.7% ABV. The 1972 vintage is regarded by experts as a remarkable year for Brora, and the 1972 Rare Malts bottlings did much to draw attention to this lost distillery. This version earned 97 points from a respected whisky reviewer.
