This is the third release of Brora 30 Year Old, a coastal Highland single malt put out by Diageo. It was bottled in 2004 at a natural cask strength of 56.6% ABV, in a 70cl bottle, and the release was limited to 3000 bottles. The nose is smoky and peaty with bold farmyard notes, then waxy, yeasty and tarry, with a touch of diesel oil. The palate starts sweet and creamy, with the peat and smoke building, along with green lemon and lemongrass. The finish is very long, on smoky lemon juice and pepper.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
