This is a Bruichladdich single malt distilled in 2004 and aged for 18 years in a cask that previously held sherry. It is bottled as Rest & Be Thankful, in a 70cl bottle.
The distillery ferments in six Oregon pine washbacks, with fermentation times of 60 to 105 hours, and uses only Scottish barley, half of it grown on Islay.
The palate is finely powdery, with camphor and spice notes appearing long afterwards.
