Bruichladdich – 2014 11 Year Old Micro Provenance 2nd-Fill Jurançon Wine Cask #1564 (70cl, 56.5%)

This is an 11 year old Bruichladdich from the Micro Provenance series, distilled in 2014 from Concerto and Propino barley. It was matured entirely in second-fill Jurançon wine cask #1564 and bottled at its natural cask strength of 56.5% in a 70cl bottle. The run is 306 bottles. Jurançon is a sweet white wine from southwest France. In a second-fill cask its influence is restrained, so the cereal-driven spirit stays in focus, with subtle ripe orchard fruit, tropical notes and gentle sweetness.
