This is a 5 year old Bruichladdich single malt from Islay, distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2011 at a cask strength of 64.6%. It is matured in bourbon casks and sold in a 70cl bottle.
It belongs to the X4 Futures series.
The nose combines fresh fruit, citrus zest and floral notes with a little sweetness and spice. On the palate come ripe peaches, vanilla cream and a subtle smokiness, with lively acidity. The finish is long and warming, with sweet malt and a hint of oak.
