Bruichladdich – Islay Barley 2012 (70cl)

Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2012 is an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle, made with barley grown on the island itself. Bruichladdich works with 19 farming partners on Islay. Barley growing began on one farm in 2004 and had reached 19 farms by 2020, supplying about 45% of the distillery's barley needs. The series looks at how the island climate, including the salt spray that washes the fields and warehouses, shapes the barley and the whisky. The distillery describes its single malt as expressive and floral.
