Bruichladdich – Port Charlotte 10 Year Old

A 10 year old heavily peated Islay single malt, made at Bruichladdich Distillery under the Port Charlotte name. It matured in a mix of first fill and second fill American oak casks together with second fill French wine casks, and is bottled non-chill-filtered and at natural colour. The American oak is described as bringing vanilla cream, caramel and sweet malt, while the French wine casks add red fruit, spice and depth. Beneath them sits earthy, coastal peat smoke.
