This is a Port Charlotte single malt from Bruichladdich, released as the First Cut for the 2007 Fèis Ìle, the Islay festival. It was the first festival valinch for Port Charlotte. The whisky comes from a single first-fill bourbon cask, number 007, and was filled by hand straight from the warehouse at natural cask strength, unchill-filtered. 950 individually numbered bottles were produced. Peated to 40 ppm, it is described as showing the vanilla, coconut and gentle spice of bourbon-cask maturation.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
