Bunnahabhain – 12 Year Old (70cl, 46.3%)

This is Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old, a single malt Scotch whisky in a redesigned bottle. It is bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is a light, fresh dram, and the higher bottling strength is intended to bring more complexity and flavour. The nose is fresh and sweet, with seaweed and malt. The palate is soft and supple, with sherry, nuts, juicy sultana and a slightly coastal edge. The finish is sherried, with mochaccino, herbal notes and a balanced salty tang.
